Glass Speedgates
Concept
The Fastlane Speedgates range is designed to provide an increased
deterrent effect over the Fastlane plus range by combining state of the
art optical technology with more imposing glass barriers to restrict
entry. Fastlane Speedgates come with state of the art anti-tailgating
detection systems and are available with different height glass barriers
to help balance the aesthetic and security requirements of most sites.
Secure
Fastlane Speedgates are designed to ensure only one person gains access
for each authorised card presented. The system uses active infrared
matrix of beams to create an invisible electronic field between two
pedestals. These beams are controlled by a microprocessor utilising
neural network technology designed to monitor the movement of people
with pinpoint accuracy. These Fastlane systems can detect 2 people as
close together as 5 mm whilst ignoring smaller inanimate objects like
umbrellas.
safety
Fastlane Speedgate barriers feature variable torque and speed settings
to tailor the units to specific applications. The multiple infrared
beams monitor the area near the glass barrier, which are designed to
stop the barriers from hitting users. The Fastlane Speedgates can
integrate with a fire alarm system so that in an emergency the barriers
automatically open in the exit direction to allow for free emergency
egress.

OPERATION:
- Retracting or swinging glass barriers intelligently controls traffic
flow while maximising throughput
- IR detection matrix protects against tailgaters
- Neural Network intelligence designed to minimise false activations
- Deters unauthorised entry attempts
- Compatible with all access control systems
- Compliant with most international disability regulations
